About Pushshove
PUSHSHOVE has produced an innovative range of 100% natural rubber thongs, featuring hand-printed designs by award winning designer and illustrator David Homer. As co-director of Sydney and New York based design studio Debaser, Homer has won 3 ARIA Awards for Best Album Art, plus London's prestigious ANNDAS Award for International Album Cover of the Year.
Homer has teamed up with Andrew Johnston and Kellie Shanahan who have 11 years experience in footwear manufacturing at an international level. This collaboration has brought Pushshove to life. Together, they have created 11 unique designs. This new range is hand printed in our manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka, which adheres to the highest ethical European standards and is Reach certified.
Pushshove thongs are made from 100% natural rubber and all offcuts from production are recycled in our manufacturer's on-site recycling plant.
A percentage of this recycled rubber is re-used to make more Pushshove thongs and other rubber products. The Pushshove manufacturing facility has been providing employment for the local people for over 50 years. This is no Chinese sweatshop - we use no child labour, and the family business is held in the highest regard by the Sri Lankan people.
